With sales approaching the £500m mark, they employ 800+ staff and carry over 750,000 passengers a year. The Marketing Director post is a new role within the company and will be integral in not only developing the marketing strategy for the business as a whole, but also essentail in driving the organisations next phase of growth. Developing the marketing strategy across all parts of the business both on and offline will be fundamental to your success and you will be a proven senior level marketer. Driving online acquisition and retention will be key and you will also play an important part in their online proposition as a whole. Offline communication channels will be used as a matter of course and you will be highly experienced in choosing the relevant media strategies to increase brand penetration and ROI. Managing a team and sizeable budget you will have all the tools at your disposal to be a success in this role. Candidates will need to be senior level marketers keen to make their mark in a high profile organisation. Experience of the travel or retail industries would be of distinct advantage and knowledge of B2B and B2C marketing useful. Personality wise, this role will need a resilient individual, ambitious with drive and tenacity. Outstanding influencing and communications skills will be required and the successful candidate will need to have first class planning and project management capabilities.
