Global Sponsorship Communications Manager
This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced communications and PR professional to join this multi-national business in their Global Sponsorship team. Initially at least you will work on the internal roll out of their new Formula One sponsorship. 70% of your time during the initial 9 months will be focussed on delivering an internal communications programme across 20 key territories leveraging the relevant races in those territories. The rest of time you will fulfil a more traditional external communications/PR role both around the sponsorship but also on general corporate matters.
You are probably working client-side in a large complex corporate environment and will have had corporate communications and crisis management experience. You will also have undertaken some sports sponsorship activation during your career and ideally have experience working with rights holders. You will have been responsible for strong agency relationships to deliver complex projects on time and budget. You will be a proven self starter with have the ability to operate at both strategic and activation levels. It is imperative that you are adept at building strong cross function relationships, particularly with very senior people at the top of business.
The internal and external communications campaigns around this sponsorship will be the lead catalysts in driving positive change, internally and externally, and accelerated growth across the business and as such this is an extremely important hire.
