Media Sponsorship Executive (Media Agency)
Our client is a leading media agency with an unrivalled reputation in the UK for providing an amazing portfolio of clients with a full service media offering covering a wide array of areas. Their sponsorship team has continued to grow and develop since its creation and now has a successful bank of people who manage the sponsorship opportunities for a number of leading clients covering all main media channels, but also encompassing a number of key experiential opportunities, live events and media partnerships which have been hugely rewarded with a number of top industry awards and the continued expansion of the team which cements them as market leaders in their field. As an Executive within the team you will work across a portfolio of fantastic accounts and be fully responsible for developing and pitching new sponsorship opportunities for your clients to address their key marketing strategies. You will therefore be a key client manager on your accounts and receive regular exposure to clients. Once opportunities are accepted by your client you will then be fully charged with bring the opportunity to life through extensive project management skills and due to the bespoke nature of many of the teams opportunities, this will ensure no two projects are the same and as such you will be fully chameleon in your approach and be able to adapt to projects which are unique for your clients. You will be working across all ATL media channels and many of your campaigns will take in multiple channels. Due to the nature of the work you will also work beyond the core traditional media channels and this will see you take in a number of experiential channels, many of which will be unique to your core clients business and therefore see you work in unchartered territories on a regular basis. As an executive in the team, you will also be responsible for part management of a junior graduate on the team.
To be considered for this role your experience could have seen you working in a number of areas within media, including, but not limited to a media agency where you may have working in a planning, planning/buying or similar sponsorship role. Other areas the client will consider include experience from the media sales side with particular experience of media sponsorship/creative solutions or form a specific sponsorship agency with a passion to move into a media agency. There is real flexibility on the media discipline you have worked in although a genuine interest in sponsorship and developing digital platforms is a real advantage. You will have excellent client management skills and have a really upbeat and enthusiastic approach which will serve you well when pitching new and exciting ideas to your clients.
