Our client, a market leading retailer, are currently on the lookout for a highly talented Online Marketing professional to join it`s busy and rapidly expanding ecommerce department at an exciting time for the business.
As the Online Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for delivering quality customer traffic to all company websites to help aid and support sales and growth objectives.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Using strong retail experience and initiative to drive the online business and ensurethe continual evolution of the online strategy to ensure the company is at the forefront of internet retailing
- Continuous management of online content across all company websites (with focus on SEO optimisation)
- Driving website traffic generation through the management and development of all online advertising (including paid search, affiliate marketing, display advertising and online partnerships)
- Responsible for the upgrade and improvement of customer experience to help develop the brand
- Management and development of a growing eCRM programme; developing the customer database via in-store and online activity, developing innovative methods of recruitment and manage customer communication, including marketing emails, customer service emails, social networks, blogs, forums and other forms of online customer contact
- Drive website traffic generation through the management and development of all online advertising (including paid search, affiliate marketing, display advertising and online partnerships)
- Responsible for the upgrade and improvement of customer experience to help develop the brand
- Manage and grow the company social media accounts, significantly growing the number of people who like us and follow us on Facebook and Twitter, plus other leading social networks, by developing creative marketing campaigns and other cost effective initiatives
- Manage customer communication, including marketing emails, customer service emails, social networks, blogs, forums and other forms of online customer contact
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level, preferably in a marketing, business or internet related discipline, with demonstrable experience of working within a consumer marketing web environment. A sound understanding of SEO, including on-page code, on-page content and link-building and a knowledge of eCRM programmes is essential as is an understanding of user experience and product feeds, including CSV, XML and tab delimited .txt files
