Our client is a leading media agency in the UK with a network of offices globally which sits them comfortably within the top 5 of global players. A unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced manager to join them working on a major entertainment account. The unique positioning of this role means that you will take a lead on communications planning with a strong digital bias and therefore they’re open to meeting with people from either a wider comms planning route with solid digital knowledge or someone who is currently working in a digitally centred account but is interested in learning and developing their knowledge across wider platforms to include TV, print, radio etc. As a manager on the business you will be fully exposed to the client and operate as the central client lead on the business formulating strategy, driving implementation and overseeing trading teams to implement strategy. You will be responsible for developing and managing a team of people within your core team and you will be fully charged with ensuring campaigns run seamlessly against core client objectives and insights.
Ultimately candidates will need to have a strong digital understanding and be able to manage the complexity of digital activity. Experience across other media is an advantage although not essential, however a solid interest in wider platforms is essential. You will have worked in a media agency environment in the UK market and ideally will have gained solid exposure to large spending clients who have operated across all main digital channels. You will have also gained solid man management and people development skill and will be comfortable with managing clients at a most senior level. You will also be inquisitive by nature and continually strive for better practice and improvement across both your accounts and the wider team.
