Planner Buyer - Top 10 Media Company, up to £32k, London - International
The Role
The Planner Buyer will work in a newly created team within this top 5 media agency which has been specially formed with heavy investment to service some of the agency's highest profile international clients in a direct response capacity. You will plan and buy directly in the local markets for a range of client. The Planner Buyer will plan and buy across all media channels in particular digital, press and DRTV. This fantastic, unique role will enable exposure to other important specialisms that input into the marketing function - including Insight, Econometrics and Technology. You will work with the Media Manager to ensure the composition and delivery of elegant and high quality media plans. You will be required to implement core DR principles to these great clients.
The Candidate
Are you a media professional with experience in direct response? Experience in all media channels is ideal but both off and online backgrounds will be considered. This role is a great opportunity for a talented planner/buyer professional to make a step up in your career working in these excellent brands. Ideally you will already be working as a junior planner buyer in a well respected media agency giving you excellent knowledge of the media planning and buying market. Experience of negotiation across media is highly beneficial as are strong analytical skills. You will be results driven - through KPIs, buying value, innovation, and accountability. You should possess a desire to further your career by broadening your experience in to international.
