We're looking for a Senior Planner to join this award winning business.
The agency has grown from strength to strength, and last year they were bought out by a leading digital agency.
They've had a lot of investments in technology (TV production brought in-house, new digital asset management software that’s revolutionising the company’s workflow, and investments in both digital hardware and software), not to mention the significant investments in people across all levels in the business. They now want to add to their team by bringing on board a strong Senior Planner.
These investments have been made to support the increasing number of new clients, as well as the international expansion of the business into new markets. As one the key Senior Planners in the business you will play an instrumental part in helping the business grow further.
As a result of this tremendous growth they now have the requirement for a full-time Senior Planner to join the expanding planning function.
This new Senior Planner position has been created to give the business additional bandwidth to strategically support one of its main clients, a top entertainment brand, and new client development opportunities.
The successful Senior Planner will work in the planning function delivering work on both acquisition and customer retention marketing campaigns.
The Senior Planner will also be required to work alongside the New Business team providing planning input to ensure a successful sales outcome.
Initially the the Senior Planner will be required to work on the agency's main account, but you will also support the strategic thinking for a series of new clients that are currently coming on board.
Depending on the growth of these accounts it may become necessary for the Senior Planner to focus on building the strategic platform of 1 to 2 major accounts and be responsible for leading the development of said accounts and delivering creative/communication solutions.
It should be reiterated that how the role evolves very much depends upon the Senior Planner and their success in the position, as well as the type of new business opportunities won by the agency.
The Senior Planner will take responsibility and ownership of a number of marketing plans and campaigns, both B2C and B2B, for the agency's leading client.
The Senior Planner will be acting as a strategic advisor to senior clients, with the aim that your input and guidance becomes indispensable.
The Senior Responsible for some strategic initiatives, as well as day-to-day planning and you will be liaising with other Planning, Account and Creative team leads on a day-to-day basis.
The Senior Planner will report to the Head of Planning.
We are looking for a Senior Planner with a solid, all round understanding and application of Acquisition and Customer Marketing activity to include the following elements: Analysis (business environment and consumer insight), Proposition development, Segmentation, Lifecycle and customer experience planning, KPI and metric setting, Creative excellence and a good grasp of prospect funnelling and acquisition planning
You will be a Senior Planner of graduate calibre with a minimum of 5 years+ planning experience, preferably within a direct or digital marketing agency.
The Senior Planner must knowledge of key direct principles.
The Senior Planner must have a commitment to achieving results and the ability to influence at a senior level.
The Senior Planner must be passionate about insight, with an obsession for getting under the skin of a business and understanding how it works and makes money.
