Market Insight Manager
You will head the team that provides information and insight at market, competitor and title level to various internal departments in the UK and for international markets.
The role is critical in the delivery of high quality information and insight that supports the business, its publishers, local distributors and retailers in the development of plans and strategies for the magazine category.
Your responsibilities will include
- Line management of a number of analysts, and be involved in training and development of the team. Effective management skills will therefore be essential.
- To ensure insights are drawn from the data and communicated to the highest standard, and continually seek opportunities to add more value in the type of report or insights given.
- To develop excellent working relationships with UK Circulation and International teams and grow relationships directly with publishers and international channels as appropriate.
- To identify the information requirements across the Circulation teams and ensure that analytical output is prioritised to meet the needs of the business.
The ideal candidate will come from an FMCG or publishing background with a strong understanding of market insights and sales data, and turning this into actionable insights for the business.
