
My client belongs to a global advertising and PR agency group. As a result of a number of business wins they are looking to recruit an experienced PR Account Executive to join the consumer PR team.
This PR Account Executive role will include but not be limited to the following responsibilities:
- Create and evaluate news stories, proposing actions which result in positive coverage
- Deliver clear, concise and accurate communications which result in the positive representation of the agency
- Research, develop and evaluate client media and New Business opportunities
- Actively contribute to team dynamics, by collaboratively delivering work that is accurate and on brief
- Generate ideas and concepts, as directed by the line manager, in line with current strategy
- Actively follow all approval procedures in compliance with agreed agency guidelines
- Foster Key internal business relationships
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Educated to degree level (or equivalent), ideally in a Marketing/PR/Journalism-related discipline
- Previous PR experience, ideally gained with an agency setting
- Must demonstrate first class interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise workloads
- Self-motivated with the ability to take ownership of projects
- Problem solving abilities and strong attention to detail
- Must be able to work on own initiative and also as part of a team
This is an exiting opportunity for a PR professional to further their career within an exiting PR agency environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record within PR and ideally have experience within a B2C environment.
