Senior Digital Planner Buyer - Entertainment
The Digital Senior Planner Buyer will work on a flagship entertainment account, and one of the industry's largest spenders. The client is innovative and rewards good ideas and hard work. You will be surrounded and challenged by some of the agency's smartest thinkers encouraging rapid and structured personal development. You will work with the Digital Media Manager, and manage and supervise a Digital Exec working on compelling digital campaigns for this film client. The Digital Senior Planner Buyer will plan and buy digital campaigns across all facets of digital media including mobile, social, interactive display, engagement planning as well as standard display. The client's plans are a mixture of a long term strategic plans, as well as short terms reactive plans - so there is a fantastic variation in this role for you to cut your strategic teeth, on a brand with some truly unique selling points. You will also be a key member of the wider team and be a key interaction point with the direct team (though this role remains all brand) thus giving you a wider exposure to the fully agency mix.

Ideally you will already be working as a digital planner buyer in a well respected media agency, or similar client side or media owner environment. You must have demonstrable experience of planning and buying digital display campaigns as well as a passion for emerging technology that you can bring to the other facts of digital that this client spends their money in. The ideal candidate will be able to provide examples of media plans that you have been involved in producing and be able to demonstrate strong negotiation skills in buying. Ideally you will have experience of managing junior team members/interns and passing on your knowledge to them through mentoring. You will be an excellent communicator, have a proven track record of managing clients and be confident in presenting your ideas to senior management. You must have and excellent knowledge of the online media market, and excellent understanding of online direct marketing principles - including planning structure, site selection, research tools. Though not a main focus of the role, you will have the attitude, ability, knowledge and personality to explain what online can add to a client's media activity.
