DIGITAL MARKETING SPECIALIST  - RETAIL

COMPANY DESCRIPTION

Our client, a premium international retail brand are now looking for a digitally savvy marketing professional to join their global marketing team. Established in the UK, they now have global presence and continue to grow through both their wholesale and retail channels.

Reporting to the Marketing Director your key objective will be to enhance the brand’s image through digital and social media platforms. You will ideally have experience working within a digital agency or in-house role with an international brand and be familiar with the leading digital applications. To qualify for this position, you must have strong language skills, with a track record in building an online community.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Effectively interpret the brand into the online environment and manage the online presence / identity of the brand on a global scale, including website and social media in order to effectively pursue the marketing objectives
  • Build effective online design to ensure efficient SEO, as well as excellent best in class experience
  • Develop outreach programs to drive traffic
  • Develop a leading digital social networking program to build loyalty, based on the brand guide for Social media
  • Build and maintain mobile content experience, seamless across devices
  • Design and build relevant content, in collaboration with the brand design team, and distribute through selected digital channels
  • Team up with the brand activation manager to link events, PR and digital activities
  • Provide leadership in digital community management for the rest of the organisation

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree holder or equivalent
  • Experience in a digital agency context and/or with global premium brands
  • Track record in building an online community
  • Fully familiar and actively following / mastering developments in the digital social networking space
  • Strong affinity for the brand and the target audience
  • Able to interpret from conceptual brand expression into solid and quantitatively measurable digital outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Design Skills highly preferred
