Senior Account Manager - Digital
An excellent opportunity has come up for an award winning full service digital agency in London. We are looking a Senior Account Manager with a passion and experience of running social and digital campaigns with decent size budget. As a SAM you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, you will be the main point of contact and proactively retain and develop client relationship facilitating the up and cross sell of the agencies proposition with long-term objectives of increasing revenue.
To manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring you have an in-depth understanding of the financial status of your portfolio.
Establishing and maintaining strong client relationships through regular face-to-face meetings, telephone, email and other communication.
You will interact closely with the project manager, studio and community teams, to gather, monitor and analyse performance data and ongoing strategy on a regular basis throughout the length of the campaign.
You will also interact effectively with other departments including new business team when handling new clients, ensuring you are briefed fully and correctly in all aspects of the project at the point of handover.
Project managing campaigns; aiding the development timetables and setting deadlines for clients, the studio and community teams.
Ensure account plans for each client are updated ongoing with all current and relevant information concerning the client and the campaign, from the point of handover from the business development manager.
Actively seeking to increase the revenue from your portfolio by understanding client's business challenges.
Keeps all documentation up to date and in the correct folders on the server at all times. Includes; brief, etc.
Candidate skills and experience:
Background - Agency experience
Managing & Leading People - Provides a clear direction for the project team in support of business objectives.
Project Management - Proven ability in running a team, controlling timelines & budgets, anticipating issues, dealing with problems and working towards a solution.
Strategic Thinking - Understands how the business strategy translates into objectives for each core functional expertise, e.g. Development, Marketing, Communities and
Communication - Communicates effectively throughout the agency and builds strong and constructive relationships with suppliers.
Client Management - Accurately manages client budgets and understands the key financial drivers and implements efficiencies where necessary.
Technical / Market Expertise - A thorough knowledge of, and passion for, the Internet and awareness of related technologies.
