A great opportunity has arisen for an Account Manager with an award-winning marketing and communications agency based in Manchester. This very successful below-the-line marketing agency works with a variety of reputable clients across the consumer and FMCG sectors, and is looking for someone to join their account handling team.
As Account Manager, you will get involved in all aspects of a proposal, from strategy through to creative, implementation and evaluation. You will work predominantly with a range of blue chip and FMCG clients, on a number of projects covering both on and offline work. These projects will involve working with print and creative, but will also feature digital work, so understanding and experience of digital projects is needed.
As an individual, you will ideally have a formal degree, preferably in a marketing or related discipline, as well as self-motivation, thoroughness, and proactivity. As the work involved will be demanding and fast-paced, you should be hard-working, diligent and resilient, and have a good work ethic and attitude. You should enjoy a challenge, be motivated, confident, enthusiastic and highly literate, and also be able to demonstrate attention to detail, market knowledge, communication skills, budgeting ability, creativity and entrepreneurialism.
