Online Marketing Manager

Strategic management of all online marketing activity:
o PPC - with specific focus on increasing reach through a broader list of generic keywords, introducing landing pages to increase quality score and conversion, use of day-parting and geo targeting, leveraging offline advertising, and ad copy testing
o SEO - with specific focus on enhancing exposure within the major search engines and alignment with PPC.
o Display - with specific focus on increasing the reach of CPM, ensuring consistency between online display and PPC marketing messages to increase overall response
o Affiliates - with specific focus on re-engagement of the affiliate channel to extend reach and drive profitable growth
Aggregators - provide marketing support to aggregator marketing including messaging and funnel optimisation
Lead, manage and govern a balanced online strategy which:
o Delivers traffic, improved conversion and sales targets within budget as well as driving a profitable growth in market share of search engine marketing (SEM)
o Ongoing development of UK websites
o Reduces cost per acquisition in line with cost per sale targets
Have worked for an extraordinary consumer brand and played a part in delivering the propositions to customers
Proven experience in delivering online sales targets within a budget
Top class and proven management of all online marketing channels
Experience of overseeing the management, merchandising and developing ecommerce websites including delivery of online projects.
Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills.
Experience in mapping out full customer journeys from advert to intended outcome (e.g. click to sale) and of using web analytics, sales tracking tags and attribution analysis to understand and optimise user experiences to drive sales
Know what works and what does not in respect of online marketing, with experience of adapting offline ideas to work well online
Proven project management skills - able to communicate with different areas of the business, including developers, underwriters and designers in an effective manner
Cross functional experience of marketing including strategy, insight, media planning, agency management
Experience inputting to the development of business strategy and then translating that strategy into a series of deliverables / plan

£45,000 - £55,000 plus bonus and benefits
