Central London media agency requires an experienced and client-facing Account Director to work across PPC and some SEO. Salary to £47K



The successful candidate will be involved with a variety of big name brands with large budgets at their disposal.



We are looking for an enthusiastic ambassador of search that can communicate on many different levels. As well as being a mentor for the search team, the individual will be able to deliver to internal and external clients, build strong relationships with account teams and help put in process to create a smooth running team.



Summary of Role:



1. Lead a team of search professionals working across up to 6 clients

2. Attend all senior level client search meetings, present, train and provide outstanding levels of client service to all clients in a proactive manner

3. Review work quality of search managers and planners and take appropriate actions and/or training to improve quality levels and time management

4. Management of recruitment, induction and eID staff appraisal processes

5. Act as a lead strategist for all top tier accounts by analysing and improving campaign results

6. Develop key senior relationships with relevant media owners to help improve overall service levels

7. Contribute to pitch work and central search collateral projects where possible



Essential attributes of successful candidate:



· 4+ years Search experience at least 2 years in a management capacity

· Excellent use of Search technology i.e. Dart, Atlas, Kenshoo, Marin etc

· Basic practical and theoretical knowledge of Analytics tools i.e. Google Analytics, Omniture, Core Metrics, Webtrends etc

· Excellent Client Management skills with a proven track record of working with senior clients

· Experience of working in high pressured new business pitch situations in either a leading or supporting capacity

· Strong communication and presentation skills

· Financial awareness and understanding

· Detail focused and meticulous by nature

· Excellent time management and problem solving skills

· A high degree of numeracy and literacy are essential, given the reporting and client financial investment aspects of the role as well as the copywriting, research and presenting aspects
