PR Officer

Worcestershire £22,000-£27,000

A successful, leading Worcestershire based organisation is now seeking an experienced PR Officer to join their busy Group PR & Communications team.  We want to hear about you in the nearest instance if you are experienced high calibre, well-rounded PR officer who is an excellent writer and can manage and coordinate publicity projects and campaigns to an exceptional level.

Key responsibilities include initiating, planning and delivering PR and publicity campaigns, organising events, producing lively, interesting copy for press releases, feature articles, advertorials and publicity material to suit a wide range of audiences, organising press photo calls and directing photographers and identifying positive PR opportunities and building relations relevant to the media.  In addition, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the production of flyers, posters, presentations and display boards for events and exhibitions and liaising with designers, printers and suppliers.

As a person, you will be a confident, motivated and committed individual with strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.  The role really needs someone who can hit the ground running who doesn’t need their hands holding and isn't afraid of hard work and achieving maximum results in a creative environment.  Ideally, you will have at least 2 years PR experience within a similar environment, maybe you were a former journalist with exceptional writing skills?
