Uncovering consumer and brand insights to drive strategic business and marketing decisions is the challenge of this superb role with a global player in the food & drink market.  In this key role, you’ll work alongside the brand teams, proactively identifying and explaining consumer marketing issues and opportunities for growth – planning and briefing out ad-hoc qual & quant research to explore consumer segmentation, innovation, communications and brand planning decisions.  On a day-to-day basis, you’ll ensure insights and action points are delivered in a timely and engaging way; you’ll also identify knowledge gaps and recommend further research as required.

A passion for consumer insight and brands is key for this demanding role with a proven ability to analyse data from multiple sources; present complex findings in an easy to understand way; apply the implications of research findings to the brand and make clear recommendations for action.  Almost certainly with a robust agency training and hands-on experience in leading FMCG company, you will combine a deep understanding of qual & quant research techniques and will have worked closely with different research agencies, briefing out ad-hoc and continuous projects.  Commercially astute and highly results focused, you will be able to turn research findings into clear, focused business recommendations.  Excellent communication skills are key, as is the ability to quickly build strong relationships with key stakeholders.  The role has one direct report, so experience of managing others, although not a pre-requisite, would be an advantage.
