As Board Director at this leading Global Media Agency you will lead a major Entertainment account for the UK. This will involve being at the cutting edge of movie and TV releases and making sure they are continually innovating to drive the biggest box office and sales possible.
The client requires a true partner who will fully immerse themselves in every aspect of the world of film marketing. Their business is to release films in cinema with a total media spend of c.£30m. These range from small art-house movies to big family blockbusters. This is a board level appointment you will also be expected to input in to the overall management of the agency, drive revenue and develop talent from within.
Although it is not essential that you have previous experience of working on a film account, you will need to have a very strong working knowledge of how the industry operates, the key dynamics facing the industry and a point of view on how media can help will be vital. It is essential that you:
-Have extensive media planning or media planning and buying experience from another leading media agency
-Have proven experience in running accounts that operate at pace, with plans changing regularly.
-Understand media both strategically and implementationally, keeping an eye on the detail is fundamental to this post.
-Can effortlessly manage both direct and indirect reports including upwards management of senor agency personnel.
