Head of Marketing
£60,000 – £65,000
A super senior brand marketing role for this major name in UK publishing that will see you help to shape both the B2C and B2C marketing strategy and deliver return on investment from all marketing activity. Using consumer insight you will use a deep understanding of the consumer to build the brand and drive readership, with a particular focus on digital products. You will have a team of marketing managers to develop and significant agency management responsibility.
Our Ideal Candidate
You will have a strong brand background, not necessarily from the publishing world, and have already held P&L responsibility in a senior marketing role with significant people management experience. You’ll have experience of the digital and mobile marketing world and both above the line brand building and customer acquisition experience. A good understanding of the business to business marketing world would also be valuable, though not essential.
Whilst still entrepreneurial and fast paced this is a start-up that’s grown-up and needs a professional marketer who is prepared to take on the challenge of raising the profile of marketing and instilling consumer focused discipline in the organisation.
