Strong analytical and strategic thinker needed for this challenging new role with a remit to initiate and drive projects to help this leading global FMCG achieve excellence in Customer Engagement and Shopper Insight across 4 key European markets.  Working closely with brand and commercial teams, your remit will include the development and roll-out of a robust category vision – using this and a deep understanding of shopper behaviour across the region and at a local market level, to influence the strategy of key retail customers and help them to drive sustainable growth.  In parallel with this, you will be responsible for delivering a shopper insight plan for the region – evaluating new approaches to measuring shopper behaviour and  ensuring that teams across the business understand and apply key metrics.

 

Our Ideal Candidate  

For what is an increasingly high-profile area of insight, we’re looking for a candidate with real expertise and understanding and a track record of using customer and shopper research within an agency, client-side or marketing consultancy role.  You may also have spent time in a marketing, sales or category management role.  You will have a broad grasp of different qual and quant approaches and may well also have an understanding of retail audit and consumer panel data too.  Strong communication and influencing skills are key with the ability to explain clearly and gain buy-in to your recommendations.  In what is a dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will be able to handle multiple projects and requests for information and be comfortable working in multicultural teams.
