Our client is a high end online retailer presently recruiting for Senior e-Commerce Manager who has a strong background of Website Management and merchandising, customer conversion and retention is required to join an outstanding marketing team based In North London.
An ideal candidate will have 4+ years' experience in e-Commerce industry with a proven track record of management, planning, testing and implementation of e-Commerce best practices in a fast moving, results oriented retail business.
Tasks:
Implementing and leading the annual e-Commerce strategy for our UK business
Ensuring flawless and timely execution and optimisation of strategies and plans
On-going review of trends and implementing change based on the site performance to maximise site conversion and retention rates
Measuring, tracking, reporting and analysing marketing campaigns
Managing external agencies and suppliers relationships
Improving the site conversion rate and customer retention to achieve budgeted sales and spend targets
Taking ownership of analysing the online customer journey and to propose, test and implement improvements for site functionality and customer journey
Work with IT to ensure that all website development requirements' are prioritised and drive progress
On-going evaluation of content for the website, create tactical initiatives to help support products
Ensure a customer centric approach is taken online, ensuring clarity, simplicity and effectiveness of communication in line with brand personality, tone of voice and objectives
Manage the e-Commerce team to ensure the correct prioritisation of all tasks and projects to ensure timely delivery. Define e-Commerce KPI's to ensure that the team is aligned with over company objectives

Essential
Customer Conversion and Retention focused with direct ownership of significant budgets
4+ years' experience in a B2C Online Marketing Manager role in an e-Commerce retail environment
Experience of working in an online marketing team with responsibility across key online channels - Website, Email, Social
Experienced in team management
Experience with core metrics, Google Analytics, MVT
Previous experience of Endeca and recommendation engines would be beneficial
