Senior SEO Manager/ Head of SEO - The Company
This is one of the biggest brands in the world. A household name, this is a company with some of the leading technology products in the world, they are growing rapidly across the global markets as they invest more and more into producing the most innovative and leading consumer technology products on the market. With the EMEA HQ in London, they are looking to grow their in house SEO Team.
In this role you will provide leadership and expertise across Performance Media (includes SEM, SMO, SEO, displays, affiliates, rich media, mobile marketing.) Senior SEO Manager/ Head of SEO - The Role
You will create, develop and implement SEO/SMO strategy, processes and solutions for their main site as well as having the ability to optimize the digital marketing spend to produce high ROIs. You will also be able to demonstrate the ability to drive performance-based marketing strategy and execution against globally agreed KPIs. The SEO team currently works with SEO agencies to implement the work. Longer term, the team is likely to need to grow as we expand into more countries and, if cost-effective, bring further SEO work in-house.
The SEO team is responsible for a crucial source of traffic and revenue for this global brand . The purpose of the team is to ensure they grow international SEO traffic. This is a role with global scope with ownership for SEO strategy and delivery , for the UK and all other country sites , as well as more local country sites as they open. The role will also help develop a mobile SEO strategy.
Senior SEO Manager/ Head of SEO - Key Requirements
*Understanding of review systems and platforms to enhance SEO.
*Strong reporting skills and confidence to present to Senior Management and others who are not knowledgeable about SEO
*Senior level SEO management experience, as well as hands-on experience of actually "doing" SEO (not
just managing agencies to do it)
*A thorough technical knowledge of all aspects of SEO
*International SEO experience a must
*Experience of managing an in-house team and outsource partners
*An end-to-end thinker with a deep understanding of how best to use Search to deliver as a performance based tool.
*A clear understanding of Social Media Optimisation and how social media relates to the entire marketing mix.
*Exposure to mobile marketing.
*Extensive experience in web technologies and Internet properties, can provide clear
guidance to a website perform.
*Working knowledge of Affiliate, Display, Rich media, Mobile Marketing.
*Expert in Web Analytics, tracking and measurement.
