An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Manager to join an IT training company based in the West Midlands. This successful company is evolving quickly, and are now looking for a talented Marketing Manager to join the team and help develop the marketing and content strategy.
As Marketing Manager, you will be improving the effectiveness of the company’s marketing, involving planning and implementing a marketing and content strategy to help drive site traffic, focusing on one key market but also working with the Business Development team to design and implement marketing strategies for other markets. Responsibilities will include defining and delivering a marketing and content strategy which will lead the website, email, PPC, SEO, content creation, and prospect communications, developing and implementing tactical plans to deliver these campaigns, managing relationships with external marketing agencies, writing copy, building relationships with customers, holding performance reviews, and identifying operational barriers to the delivery of marketing targets.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of online and content marketing, enjoy working in a technology-based environment, and be analytical, bright, and numerate. A marketing or related degree and/or a professional marketing qualification is preferable but not essential. You will have experience of PPC campaigning and of managing content-based websites, and ideally have particular experience in consumer lead generation. You should be hands-on, able to take on the tactical implementation of campaigns, commercially-minded, with excellent organisation and project management skills. Budget and people management experience would be beneficial, as well as a thorough knowledge of CRM or similar.
