Business Development Manager
My client is a leading Professional Services firm based in the North West who are looking to recruit an exceptional Business Development Manager. Reporting to the Head of Business Development you will provide practical assistance to the Partners, so all business development opportunities with existing clients can be exploited. You will also be responsible for identifying and developing opportunities for new work, whether that be from new prospects in existing sectors, or new market sectors.
Work closely with Heads of practice areas to implement and manage agreed business development initiatives
Introduce measures to monitor the effectiveness of all business development activity.
Work closely with the Tender Manager on provision of information for tenders, pitches and presentations
Take an active role in the development and on-going implementation of the CRM programme
Provide coaching/mentoring support for Partners on business development activity and identify where there are training needs.
The successful candidate will have three to five years business development experience in a business to business services environment, including a minimum of two years in professional services. Strong analytical and interpersonal skills are essential.
