My client is looking for an experienced Product Manager to augment their Product Team for the European market after successful growth in the eCommerce market. The International Stream is responsible for Global expansion, primarily focused on European markets. They are responsible for the development, maintenance and governance of the company's International Platform, bringing their U.S. market-leading, Secondary Tickets Marketplace to new international markets.
Key deliverables for the role will be:
Be the Product Management point person for the European Business Operations.
Understand both consumer (B2B, B2C) and Operations needs and opportunities for the European market.
Manage and optimise the Product offering for our European markets
Work with Product teams to develop and implement new product solutions to grow European sites.
Support Marketing and Communications teams with site/promotional messaging and editorial content.
Support Business Development teams with new opportunities and partner relationships
Actively contribute to the International Stream global strategy
The Person
The ideal candidate will be a person of high analytic intelligence who has a demonstrable track record of managing complex processes and influencing a wide range of stakeholders effectively.
The personal requirements in more detail are:
8+ years of Product Management experience at a Consumer Internet or Software company, or other relevant experience
Proven track record of developing and managing successful products
Ability to translate business requirements into use cases and detailed product requirement documents engineering teams can use
Must be effective at decision making and brokering tradeoffs
Project management experience at a consumer Internet or software company, or other relevant experience
Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across a large public company and with external stakeholders - details oriented
Ability to lead and inspire cross-functional groups
Knowledge about the entertainment, concert, sports or ticketing industry in general is a plus
Fluency in German, French or other European languages a bonus
Occasional travel required, both Europe and US
Basic Qualifications
Internet, eCommerce background including Buy, Checkout, Search, Find, Offer and Customer Support management processes, including SEO and SEM methodologies and technologies
Knowledge of software development processes (SDLC, RUP, AGILE)
Bachelors Degree
