Research Manager – Clientside (Media) – 4 or 5 days per week
Interesting new Research Manager role has arisen on the client side, with an industry funded body that provides data to a range of different stakeholders within the media arena. This role is a brand new position and has an amount of influence and autonomy that few roles at this level possess.
The main responsibilities for the Research Manager include:
- Acting as the main contact for research agencies to maintain highest standard of research and accuracy of data
- Working with the technical team to develop new methodologies around the digital impact on the media industry and how best to monitor usage figures
- Supporting the client services team to encourage the best use of data
- Should you be interested, there is an opportunity for the person to get involved in PR, marketing and website development for the organisation
The ideal candidate must have experience of quantitative research combined with in-depth understanding of the media industry (either agency or clientside is fine). It would be ideal if the person has experience of working with audience systems. Furthermore this individual needs to be an excellent communicator, as you will need to deal with people at different levels and also play a key role in committee meetings. Due to the nature of the position they are considering people either for 4 or 5 days per week, depending on level of experience.
