Managing the marketing activities across all disciplines of marketing and communications with a particular focus on promotional campaigns and events. Reporting to and working closely with the Regional Marketing Manager, the role will manage the Marketing Coordinator and external agencies. This role requires you to be constantly monitoring the activities of competitors as well as target audiences and use this market knowledge to develop the business and give it a competitive edge.
The successful individual will be a motivated and driven professional with a proven track record of delivering B2C marketing communications campaigns ideally within the retail sector. You will be able to give plenty of examples about your campaign management skills both strategic and tactical. Having strong interpersonal and relationship management skills is essential as the role will involve working with a broad mix of internal and external stakeholders. This together with good negotiation skills and commercial awareness will be important. Having a proven background in reviewing agencies as part of a tender process would be an advantage. This is a busy and varied role and requires someone with good organisational skills, creative ability and a dynamic self-motivated character.
