We have an exciting opportunity to join a team responsible for managing the customer marketing strategy and communications plan for this leading retailer based north of London.

GM Marketing Manager - Retail - 2 month contract - £200-£220 per day - South East

Our client is one of the most successful British retailers in the World. They are looking for someone to join them on a 2 month contract to work closely with multiple categories to build an annual marketing plan and to help maintain the marketing strategy

You will be a central figure in the marketing strategy, working with multiple categories to drive awareness and install best practice across the marketing teams: You will:
- shape and own the annual mutichannel brand and communications plan.
- champion the marketing channels to better build messages into wider business activity.
- govern and prioritise category requests, ensuring that these are grounded in customer insight.
- be the communications champion for the project, working closely with POS team to influence the in store environment.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- proven experience of delivering large scale above and below the line messages
- demonstrable experience of delivering tangible projects
- commercial awareness and proven ability to manage margins and trading
