New Business Manager

Overview

  • New Business Manager reporting directly in to company directors
  • In short-term, to focus on cold-calling and prospecting to bring in immediate pitch opportunities and briefs
  • Mid-term, to build and take responsibility for driving, all aspects of the agency’s new business strategy
  • To help manage the partnership with external new business/PR agencies
  • To ensure the new business agency meets the targets and objectives that are set
  • To proactively identify new business opportunities and be pivotal in helping to turn prospects into clients
  • To achieve annual new business commercial targets
  • To raise the profile of new business internally

MUST BE RESULTS DRIVEN!!! Organisational skills

  1. Time management – effectively juggle multiple projects / initiatives
  2. Prioritisation – effectively prioritise across new business initiatives
  3. Attention to detail – when developing pitch presentations and  marketing collateral

Insights & Analysis

  1. Competitors - understanding of what our competitors are doing
  2. Marketing Discipline Trends – understanding of what is new and how we can offer our clients more services.

Supplier Management

  1. Managing all suppliers effectively and ensuring all objectives are met
  2. Cost Effectiveness – ensuring all supplier budgets are managed and are cost effective
