Our client are a major player in the world of Shopper Marketing . They are currently looking for an experienced Account Director to work on one of their biggest retail clients.
Specialising in shopper marketing, events, sponsorship and digital, this agency produce fantastic award winning campaigns for some of the UK's biggest brands across retail, FMCG and entertainment. We are looking for an Account Director to work for a major UK retailer, based within the agency in Manchester city centre, but with occasional travel to the retailer's head office. Working very closely with the Group Account Director, you will be responsible for heading up the day to day responsibilities of the event marketing business, developing and implementing all their in-store events. You will ensure growth and profitability of the account alongside the Group AD, but essentially you will be ensuring the brand is positioned correctly and working strategically and collaboratively with the client to produce innovative campaigns.
You will be an Account Director with strong integrated marketing experience, with experience in retail and events. You will be a born-leader; able to manage and motivate a team effectively. A strong eye for detail and excellent communication skills are essential.
