You will be working with 2 other creative directors and managing/ being supported by a talented team of designers, whilst liaising with client services, account handlers and other members of the team on a day-to-day basis. Clients include: Apple, Virgin, Orange, design Council as well as property companies, charities and many others.
Successful applicants will be very ideas driven, possess strong brand identity and typographic skills, understand strategic processes, be inspiring and confident - someone with bags of creative flair with the ambition and drive to help develop the business.
Skills and Experience
*Excellent experience in branding agencies working on high profile clients on a variety of branding issues. Your work should be more than just great design and should have really effected business change with great results
*Creative flair and great storytelling skills
*Clarity of thinking, delegation, effective use of design staff and resource
*Pushing hard to innovate lead new thinking in approaches to brand building
*Understands the principles and the practice of B2B marketing: what makes businesses and customers tick; what the trends are; how to apply creativity to bring them to life
*Has as a minimum a solid grounding in branding and identity and an eye for typography
*Can demonstrate original thinking in solving client business problems through brilliant design
*Can lead other by example: able to produce award winning creative work in different media
*Has experience of team management and essential principles - from team motivation and mentorship to profitability and productivity
*Developing client relationships
*Leading the presentation of creative work to the client in a clear compelling and inspiring way, demonstrating polished and articulate presentation skills
*Contribute to the strategic vision for the agency
*To manage the creative department, ensuring consistently high levels of motivation, morale teamwork and creativity
*To lead from the front - acting as the creative figurehead for the department - externally and internally.
*To ensure that all output is on brief, on schedule and on budget
*To work with the production and studio heads to ensure the creative department operates at maximum efficiency
*To work collaboratively with all other departments (i.e. sales, account managers and strategy) to create and convert client and sales opportunities
