Client Development Advisor
The purpose of this role is to develop strategic business plans to increase the quality and effectiveness of BD & marketing campaigns for this vital business area of the firm. This is a full mix business development role where you will have the autonomy to achieve the business development objectives that support the firm's international ambition and strategically important industry and practice areas. Covering Professional indemnity, Marine and Energy, Aviation, Financial lines and Property the role will focus on the profitable development and growth of clients driven by industry and practice lines in the UK and internationally where applicable.
This will involve business planning, research & analysis, advising and coaching partners, bids work, leading steering groups in their meeting and some client feedback as well as account management. The role will also involve the management of a more junior BD specialist.
You will be required to operate strategically, suggesting new and innovative ideas but with a hands-on approach as well to ensure that all initiatives are implemented resourcefully and correctly.
The successful candidate will have strong Business development or client care experience within a professional services environment. Previous experience of coaching and developing partners and teams is key. Knowledge and experience of account management as well as strong project management and planning skills
