Senior Product Marketing Manager
This is a unique opportunity to join the marketing team of one of the best known brands in the UK.
In this role, you will be expected to manage campaign deliverables for the Sky Partnership Products marketing team driving optimisation & sustained performance across all channels.
The key deliverables of this role will centre around the strength of relationships both internally and via our strategic business partners & suppliers so effective stakeholder management is paramount to success.
The Sky Partnership Products team sits within the TV Products team within our Sales & Marketing Group.
This role will report into the Marketing Controller and will work cross-functionally across all levels of the business and with third party partners.
One of the key pillars of Sky's success has been its on-going investment into its diversified product ranges. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of the marketing activity for Sky Protect and Sky Accessories to help hit our ambitious sales targets and ensure the delivery of the individual P&L's.
Under the direction of the Commercial Controller the role will be primarily focused on the management of the Product and Marketing functions of Sky Protect & Accessories to help ensure the delivery of the overall subscriber and P&L KPIs.
Managing both functions day to day will involve working closely with our business partners to manage both the Marketing / Commercial and Product Management teams.
The role will also involve managing the relationship between our partners and several internal departments at Sky such as Brand, legal and data management. The P&L responsibility for Sky Accessories is an additional element to the role which requires management of both the Direct to Home online and Retail sales channels.
Day to Day
Product & Sales Growth
Drive sales number growth for the product portfolio
Ownership of the trading functions in the team to achieve our net growth subscriber targets
Manage product proposition, development and any supporting marketing and commercial activity
Development of robust budgets, marketing plans and product roadmaps for Sky Protect
Drive new business initiatives and business cases both within the current product remit and potential extensions to the product portfolio
Ensure delivery of all product KPI's with a focus on the Sky Protect and Sky Accessories P&L's
Ensure the delivery and ongoing management of all acquisition and customer retention channels including TM, DM and online
Responsible for management, development and motivation of Marketing Manager
Product & Channel Expert
Be key point of contact for both internal & external stakeholders and manage relationships effectively to support product growth
Assist with the review and handling of customer complaints with legal and D&G
Supporting the wider team with any other ad hoc requirements
Supporting Commercial Controller in a fluid way as needs arise
Build and manage relationship with our business partners
Attend and manage, as appropriate, meetings including weekly conference calls, monthly performance review meetings and quarterly call centre reviews
Integrated marketing experience across a range of offline/online channels delivering campaigns end to end.
Demonstrable experience managing creative and digital agencies across a number of campaigns.
Proven experience of building strong relationships across all levels, both internally and with external partners and suppliers.
Able to work under pressure, autonomously with little supervision achieving consistent results.
Minimum 3 years direct marketing experience, gained in either client or agency environment.
Comfortable managing a large budget and forecasting and tracking performance against business KPI's.
Numerate & analytical with the ability to identify insightful data & trends
Product management /marketing management experience
Demonstrable analytical or commercial experience

Experience in 3rd party management
