Search Account Manager - The Role
As a Search Account Manager you will play a pivotal role in the day to day management of some key agency client's campaigns. You will report to your account director and be tasked with the optimisation execution against your client's search marketing objectives. You will also have one account executives reporting to you so a desire to pass on knowledge is essential.
You will be responsible for the day to day running of the search accounts, this include but not limited to the best practice implementation, daily optimisation, accurate reporting and measurement, appropriate BETA and product utilisation, trend analysis and recommendations.
You will be working closely with your Account Director and the wider Client Leadership team and will be involved in the overall media briefing - to understand the overall client objectives and the role of PPC in achieving this.
You will develop an in depth understanding of your client's targets and objectives.
Develop and implement strategy for your client's search accounts - including keyword list creation, ad copy development, account architecture, strategy, and integration with other media.
You will also be responsible for managing and forecast large PPC budgets effectively, and take full ownership of the reconciliation process.
You will be managing one Account Exec.
Search Account Manager - Key Requirements
- Very strong analytical skills
- Extensive knowledge of 3rd party ad serving and campaign tracking technologies - DoubleClick, Marin, MediaMind
- Thorough understanding of Google, Yahoo/Bing! search marketing platforms and related technologies
- Advanced Excel/PowerPoint user
- Good communicator (verbal, written)
- Passionate about search and digital
- Articulate and client facing
