We are looking for an ambitious, energetic and driven Senior Corporate Affairs specialist with significant and relevant experience to lead the agencies corporate offer. You will have a proven track record of commercial success, technical ability and demonstrable leadership qualities, to inspire and motivate the team, gleaned both in-house and consultancy side.
You will work closely with Directors to mine new opportunities and build our capabilities and profile. You will naturally command the respect of the Directors and the wider team, building on the fresh energy that exists to develop a lively team that takes pride in delivering excellent work. You will enjoy leading from the front, rolling up your sleeves to get involved as necessary, seamlessly becoming Head of the Corporate Affairs team as well as an integral part of the Management Board, driving the management of the agencies business.
You will quickly earn the respect of key players within the wider group to attract and leverage new business opportunities. Working closely with the agencies Consumer, Employee, Investor Relations, Digital and Corporate Reporting teams, you will oversee the development of hard-hitting and programmes/campaigns that deliver value and results for clients. You will identify opportunities for training and developing the skills set that exists, growing existing capabilities, and making strategic new hires quickly and effectively. Across our network you will make connections with senior leaders and key consultants to attract and win major new business opportunities, and grow their potential. In particular, you will expand on the strong heritage of our network in the Public Affairs/Government Relations space by building a strong, focused offer in London.
You will capitalise on the opportunity provided by the recent integration of the group to raise the external profile of the division, working closely with the Chief Marketing Officer and seven-strong new business and marketing team. You will assist the development of sector specific marketing initiatives, as well as support the Thought Leadership series designed at a Group level to raise our market profile. To aid this, you will ensure external visibility for the team through networking, event attendance and speakership, by-line and comment piece writing and contribution to industry features.
In this role, you will bring your international experience to bear, advising with gravitas at the most senior levels of business --- from global multinationals through to exciting new start-ups. You will advise on integrated corporate reputation programmes, presenting the full Group offer as an attractive end-to-end proposition for prospects and existing clients alike. Needless to say, you will be commercially astute, with an eye for revenue opportunities and the will to deliver them.
