Digital Optimisation Analyst

West Midlands£24000 - £39000 per annum + Package

Key Responsibilities
·Own and manage the web development of the Over50s ecommerce platform to increase sales and conversions, whilst maintaining compliance, usability and design best practice.
·Act as web expert with D2C Directorate for syndication versions of GI, Over50s, COLA for Banking and Affinity Partners.
·Building Over50s syndications including bespoke brand customisation, functionality and product differentiation.
·Create interactive tools, imagery and promotional material of partner platforms and methodologies. ·Develop and support Affiliate platforms via dynamic feed generation of content and interactive tools to facilitate compliant and timely syndication.
·Support Senior Digital Development Manager in delivery of agreed deliverables including acting as, Alternate senior CMS editor, Web analytics technical specialist, Web technical design and accessibility expert, Peer review, bug fixing and problem solving.
·Manage the technical build of online promotion materials. This includes display media, image manipulation and creation, acquisition and retention emails, utilising working knowledge of web methodologies and development languages (eg HTML, Flash and CSS etc).
·Act as technical reference point within Direct Marketing in interpreting the requirements of the Product Managers in developing the tools that push the boundaries of non-advised customer journeys.
·Develop and maintain methodologies for managing multiple syndication for COLA and Over50s including detailing and logging specifications, variances and version controls whilst implementing universal compliance

Knowledge:
·Experience of having used A/B and/or Multivariate Testing is essential.
·Proven experience of web development using a variety of technologies including Java, HTML and XML
·Strong graphic design skills
·Proven experience of using CSS to syndicate core tools and content ·Proven experience of using Flash and Actionscript to create interactive tools and banners.
·Working knowledge of CMS systems
·Good understanding of website accessibility guidelines
·Web content management system
·Technical knowledge of a variety of web analytics packages including technical implementation of tracking tags
·Change initiation process for non-secure & secure areas of the site
